Spring has sprung!

It’s wonderful to be able to spend more time outdoors, which is feeling very springlike at the moment, with magnolia, sunny daffodils, primroses and narcissi all in bloom. We look forward to the the longer, brighter, warmer days ahead and enjoy the new uplifting colours and scents of the season. Spring time’s purpose is to rejuvenate, refresh, revitalise. Spring is a period of reviewing the old and bringing to life the new, whether that’s in your home or in your garden.

Across the world flowers universally bring a surge of warmth and joy, whether you’re planting them, finally seeing them appear on your daily walk or receiving them from a loved one. In spring we plant, nurture and grow. If you’re wondering what to start planting at the moment, we’ve got some suggestions on flowers and vegetables that will thrive in your garden: 

Flowers: Geraniums, Marigolds, poppies, sunflowers, 

Vegetables: Beetroot, strawberries, raspberries, peppers, tomatoes, broad beans, sugar snap peas, radishes and rhubarb.
